The 2026 season is underway, with strong participation at the opening local race and continued representation from Bermuda athletes competing internationally.
Below are results from the Good Friday event, the Emma Norman National Championship, upcoming races, and highlights from athletes racing overseas.

CARIFTA Triathlon — Bermuda 2026
CARIFTA Triathlon is tentatively scheduled for 23–25 October 2026 in Bermuda. Planning is underway with the Local Organising Committee, with further updates expected following confirmation from Youth & Sports.

The season opened at Harrington Sound Dock with competitive racing across senior and junior categories.
Over 16 race
1st — Jackson Langley — 52:12
2nd — Dylan Eiselt — 56:53
3rd — Will Green — 1:03:08
Other notable performances: Lucas Bule (1:03:24), Geoff Smith (1:06:10), Phil Wollins (1:06:37), Maddy Schindel (1st female, 1:11:27), Rudi Hammond (1:11:33), Arthur Wightman (1:14:35).

Emma Norman National Olympic Distance Championship — 26 April
The National Championship took place at Clearwater Beach, with athletes and supporters paying tribute to Emma Norman.

2nd — Jackson Langley — 2:01:15
3rd — Michael Evans — 2:11:46
Women
1st — Kristen Robinson — 2:31:16
2nd — Nicole Mitchell — 2:42:47
3rd — Georgia Evans — 2:46:36
Team winners: Tri-ing Our Best — 2:04:13.
Aquabike winners: Julia Hawley — 1:50:40 (1st), Steven Wells — 1:53:07 (2nd).
Finished inside the top 15 (Professional Women) and opened her 2026 season in a competitive international field.

Top 10 finish (Elite Men) with a strong performance in an international field.
World Triathlon rankings
IslandStats reported April ranking movement for Bermuda’s elite athletes, with Erica Hawley listed 87th in the World Triathlon rankings and 70th in the WTCS standings, while Tyler Smith moved to 307th in the World Rankings after a strong start to 2026.
Bermuda’s junior athletes continue to gain experience internationally in draft-legal racing.
British Junior Triathlon Trials
Ollie Hayward, Rory Shepherd, Rohan Roopra, and Dominic Wright took part in the 2026 Super Series British Triathlon Assessments, with a 400m swim followed by a 10km bike / 3km run assessment weekend.
Hayward competed in the junior open division, while Wright, Shepherd, and Roopra raced in the youth open division. The assessments help determine entry order for the British Triathlon Youth & Junior Super Series.
